It’s 1879 and seventeen-year-old Theodocia Hews is out of control. Her inventor father Orin Hews tried to raise her to be a proper lady, but Theo says and does whatever she wants. Since girls aren't supposed to be inventors, she’s secretly building her own airship up on the roof of their house. When her father is attacked and his valuable invention is stolen, she sets out in her untested airship to get her father’s contraption back. She'd better hurry. Her father's contract with his buyer expires in three days and without it they’re ruined.
The Adventures of Theodocia Hews is a humorous YA steampunk adventure/romance series set in 1879 Cincinnati in an alternate universe where the evil institution of slavery was abolished shortly after the United States was founded, the Civil War never happened, crazy inventions are commonplace, and steam power rules!

Children are often fascinated with many different types of animals. They like to look at pictures of different animals whether in books or just pictures by themselves. However, a book would be more beneficial than just looking at pictures of animals. One of the animals that seems to be very interesting to kids, is a wolf. The Wolves of North American book (kids edition) would be a great book for kids who are interested in learning more about wolves in North America. It would be a great educational tool and children of all ages would benefit from reading this kind of book.

Love stories about magic? What about blood thirsty monsters and secret society's that hunt them? Secret Seekers Society is jam packed with all that and more.
Secret Seekers Society and the Beast of Bladenboro centers around the lives of two young protagonists Hunter Glenn, and Elly Ann through an adventure ripe with adversity, paranormal monsters, secret societies, and most haunting of all, a life without their parents.
The book follows both, the sibling’s emotional struggle from their parent’s sudden loss, as well as their physical journey into a new and strange “home”, an ancient and creepy mansion known only as the Belmonte Estate.
With a worldly whimsy and a charming style, Love’s Wonders by new author Gigi Mazzola compares love’s depth—its mystery and perseverance—to a few of the planet’s natural and manmade wonders. Written for newborns to beginning readers, young minds will be electrified with the visual art depicting such entities as the Golden Gate Bridge and the Great Wall of China. As children are introduced to a bevy of fabulous locales, they learn to think big about love, life, and geography. Beginning with the Grand Canyon and the Taj Mahal, the sky is the limit when it comes to considering all the amazing places a child will visit. As fun as it is educational, much like Eric Carle, the text and the illustrations are paired with glossary directives that share a few further details of each coinciding landmark. It is no wonder that natural wonders will be a big hit for families with an adventurous spirit.
This book is directed at the self teaching, homeschool kid. These, are not of course, exclusive requirements, but that is who the intended audience is.
To do science in a home school style, the experiments are laid back and I speak directly to the brilliant and curious children who are looking forward to a little hands on exploration.
It contains 10 of my children's favorite experiments. There are several steps that require supervision and I hope that the families that start them, enjoy them together as much as my family did.
