The story is about a lion cub who is born without a voice. He is both loved and made fun of by the jungle animals. As a result, Lonnie is very sad and lonely. However, this changes when Lonnie handles a crisis threatening their entire jungle community. Lonnie is the first to detect a fire coming from the distance. He finds his courage and runs out to stop the fire, though he does not know how he will put it out. Suddenly, he opens his mouth and lets out a tremendous, ground shaking roar, and puts out the fire. All the jungle animals are afraid when they hear Lonnie’s roar. But when they look around, they see that the fire is out. They are all overjoyed. Lonnie is now the center of attention and they sing his praises as the true “King of the Jungle”. And they all live happily ever after.
